Hello! Let me begin by stating that I am not a visionary. I'm not a
futurist. I'm not psychic. But I am an Engineer with an imagination. This

If you still like to read the traditional newspaper rather than your computer screen, the internet and newspapers could converge with help from Nanotechnology.
This concept is related to 'Video Paper' in the sense that the Nanobots in the paper fibres and ink can rearrange their configuration to change the text and images on a page.
This textual and graphical information would be downloaded wirelessly via the internet to your newspaper. It can still look and feel like a traditional paper (possibly even with ink rubbing off on your fingers), but will be constantly changing. No more static images of that inferno on Main St. It would be a full color video. |

How annoying is it to find bird crap on the roof of your car? With nanobots embedded into the car paint, you will never need to get bird excrement under your fingernails again!
All you'd need to do is hose it off, or even simply blow it off. The nanotechnology within the car paint will not allow any foreign objects to bond with car body.
This same technology will be found in clothes, carpets, kitchen floors and even your pet cat!
Talk about non-stick... which leads me to cooking utensils. Sick of washing your fry pan after cooking up some greasy, fatty bacon? Dont worry. Hey, dont even scrub! The nanotechnology embedded in the metals of the frypan will allow all leftover food to simply and easily wash away. |
